Quilt pattern for a twin size quilt, 66x84,  made from 6 individual snowboarding silhouettes, 18x18 blocks, bordered for a twin bed. Easily add more borders for a larger bed or less images for a smaller.

Strip cut and Pieced (not paper piecing)
My patterns are made in a stripped and pieced method great for beginners. I use charts for the cutting instructions. First, with the yardage and given number of strips to cut for each color fabric. Second, a set of charts giving the cross-cut lengths for the rectangle pieces, each label alphabetically. Then you will follow a full page alphabetically labeled color image of the quilt top.

The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. Making the entire top sewn with straight 1/4" seams. There are some helpful videos on YouTube for those need assistance.

Easy outline quilting, with some echo quilting to fill the spaces. Get creative in the blocks, the sample shows snowflakes and an hour glass diamond design.

Size:
Each snowboarder block is 18x18. The borders are 3 inches wide.

Skill Level: Beginner The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses tables to show the number of strips to cut and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles also called the snowball method. There are some instructional videos on youtube. Just search Counted Quilts Dog instruction.

Selecting Fabrics: Due to the fact that the pattern pieces may be sewn both horizontally and vertically to make the picture we recommend using non-directional fabric.
